The idea of establishing Perfect Secondary School became a reality in January 2005 when two persons, Filbert F. Mtui (Social Worker) and Sylvester M. Sulle (Teacher) met together to provide education to standard seven leavers from the most marginalized families, orphans from HIV/AIDS, disabled and street children.

The project was conceived by these two willing persons, having started out with thirteen children comprising eight boys and five girls. Classrooms were hired at KITUCHABAMO VTC in the year 2004.

In January 2005 several parents approached teachers to enrol their children to obtain Secondary Education in the same area. Forty-five children were enrolled to join Form One.  Among these registered students in Form One, ten are not paying tuition fees: these are among the orphans, from the most marginalized families and disabled.  Most of the teachers are working as volunteers, with others contributing on a part-time basis with very meagre salaries.

There are now 108 students, with the majority of them having the most marginalized status, orphans and disabled. However there are many more orphans in the nearby villages who are not attending school because of the limited capacity of our classes and office facilities.
